Hello to all! Welcome to Ms. Z's blog of all things happening in the classroom! Thanks for following along! Today, as you are all aware, was St. Patrick's day! The class spent part of yesterday afternoon, and part of this morning constructing and perfecting leprechaun traps. I would not be surprised if your children grew up to be engineers! The traps were amazing! I wish I would have remembered my camera. Oh well!
Leppy the leprechaun visited our classroom twice today, the first time only leaving footprints and a note. The second time he visited, he left quite a mess! He tipped desks over, knocked over chairs, and left a path of glitter wherever he went! He also left a "gold" coin for each student! What a messy, tricky leprechaun! No one caught him, though!
Spelling test tomorrow! Have a wonderful night!

We just read the supplemental Magic Tree House book about Leprechauns last night where it said that a leprechaun has yet to be caught. We remain hopeful that someday we will catch one. Mischievous wee folk. :)
